Light signal
When 5 sets of red lights are extinguished simultaneously: It signals the start of the race.
Yellow flag
When the flag is waved it usually means an accident has occurred further ahead, all drivers must reduce speed and overtaking is prohibited to avoid danger.
Blue flag
It means a faster driver is approaching and about to overtake you, so you must yield the overtaking line to the faster driver behind you.
Checkered flag
When the race is almost over, the chief flag marshal will raise the checkered flag and wave it at the driver about to pass through the finish line, indicating that the driver has completed the race.
Green flag
The flag signifies that it is okay to resume racing; a green flag usually appears after a yellow flag when the driver has passed through the bend when the accident has occurred, indicating that the diver has cleared the dangerous section of the track and is permitted to accelerate to race speeds.
Red flag
This means a major accident has occurred and the race must be terminated or it has already ended. When seeing a red flag, drivers must slow down and return to the pits for further instructions.
