As a leader in the industry, Lihpao Resort continues to promote innovative service by introducing the self-driving shuttle bus as from today. Li Yu-jui, the Director-General of the Sports Bureau, Taichung City Government; Senior Specialist Chen Li-chu of the Economic Development Bureau; and the Taiwan Industry Innovation Platform Program Office, Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA all attended the press conference for the launch and debut of the bus held at the Lihpao Racing Park today (18th). The industry, the government and academia joined the conference to recognize the innovative shuttle service by expanding the application of self-driving AI technology to the Resort. It is expected that Lihpao Resort can continue to march toward the vision of a smart park. The dynamic target detection was performed on site while traveling around the track by self-driving shuttle bus, while heartwarming audio guidance within the bus provided a stable, comfortable, and unforgettable experience.

The key driving force of introducing the self-driving service was the Vice President of Lihpao Resort Chih-Hung Chen, who was also the President of CTAF. He connected three parties of CTAF, Ligpao and Turing Drive for collaboration to show support for new technology in Taiwan by action.

By establishing the Road Safety Education Center for child recently, CTAF not only implemented the promotion of the road safety concept but also devoted itself to promoting the development of the transportation industry. Lihpao Resort indicated that this plan was led by the Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA and Turing Drive while Lihpao was responsible for providing the location to introduce the self-driving vehicle for shuttle station connection and implement the eco-friendly and energy-saving green transportation industry. In this case, three parties of CTAF, Ligpao and Turing Drive worked together to show support for new technology in Taiwan by action. In addition, the development of the self-driving vehicle requires actual fields to accumulate operating data and optimize the process. Thus, the entire area of the park provided by Lihpao served as a safe and comfortable environment for self-driving companies to show their capacities.
The vast expanse of the Resort includes diversified entertaining items such as the theme park, outlet, hotel and racing park. The six two-way lanes crossed with four two-way lanes are the main road conditions in the park and traffic signals are installed for the complicated road conditions of winding paths and going uphill. Turing Drive will provide convenient shuttle services with four routes via four vehicles in separate phases.
