Notice to all drivers

Precautions for kart drivers

  • For your safety, the driver of SODI must be at least 10 years old and 145cm tall. For CRG, the driver must be adult with driving license while the co-driver must be at least 125cm tall.
  • The driver must wear long pants, sneakers (high heels and sandals are prohibited) and a crash helmet. The female driver's long hair must be tied up and tucked into the balaclava. The hair may not be exposed.
  • Items that can potentially fall off including necklace, watch, bracelet, ankle bracelet, wallet, cell phone and scarf must be stored in the safekeeping area. Before driving, all drivers must receive instructions and a training course. Please refer to on-site announcements for all safety-related regulations.
  • When getting in and out of the kart, please do so from the left-hand side of the kart by stepping onto the seat directly with both of your hands holding on to the seatback.
  • After sitting in the kart, please do not adjust or switch on/off any onboard equipment, the staff will help you to configure the most comfortable driving positions.
  • Control the brake and throttle with your left foot and right foot, respectively. For your safety, please do not press both pedals at the same time as it will cause the kart to malfunction/be damaged.
  • The kart's steering ratio is set to 1:1, so please hold on to the steering wheel with both hands while driving.
  • When encountering an accident or malfunction, please keep your helmet on and bring your kart to a complete stop on either the right or left side of the track. Do not exit your vehicle, keep both arms raised and our staff will provide you with immediate assistance.
  • For your safety, please respect the flag signal instructions on the track.
  • Burnouts and drifts are strictly forbidden, the organizer reserves the right to terminate the experience of those who do not comply with the regulations. Thank you for your cooperation.

Getting started

  • Lihpao Racing Park offers single seater karts (Sodi) and 2-seater (CRG).
  • Reservation 3 weeks in advance is needed for the karting experience. Due to venue and time constraints, please call ahead to make a reservation and report to the track at least 30 minutes before your race begins. Those who fail to show up will be deemed to have relinquished their turn and must be put on the stand-by list according to the registration sequence. For those who wish to try the karting experience without prior booking, our staff will make arrangements for them depending on the stand-by situation. If no vacancies are available because the track is fully booked for the entire day, those on standby will relinquish their turn unconditionally.
  • The experience includes a pre-race lecture (10-15 minutes) and a racing experience of 8 minutes, totaling approximately 30 minutes.
  • For your safety, the driver must be at least 10 years old and 140cm tall wearing pants and sneakers on the race day. Furthermore, the driver must receive instructions and a training course before the physical examination. If necessary, please produce a photo ID and refer to on-site announcements for all safety-related regulations.
  • Guests who have consumed alcohol, have heart conditions, epilepsy, discomforts and pregnant women should not participate in the race.
  • Drivers and co-drivers must read and sign the assumption of risk and indemnity agreement. Minors under the age of 18 must have the assumption of risk and indemnity agreement signed by an adult.
  • When there is bad weather, maintenance or force majeure, the race will be postponed to another date or time. Please make sure that you understand the service details before entering the park.

When inside the race track:

  • Except for the smoking area, smoking is prohibited.
  • The park only provides lukewarm water for preparing baby formula, no hot water is available. For your safety, please do not bring hot soup-type food into the par, thank you for your cooperation.
  • Please do not bring pets into the park.
  • Please do not bring sports equipment such as roller skates, inline skates, bicycles, scooters or other similar products into the park.
  • Please do not bring guitars, speakers or other musical instruments into the park.
  • Please do not bring dangerous or harmful items such as knives, firearms and glassware, etc. into the park.
  • Please do not bring dangerous chemicals, toxic substances and flammable items, etc. into the park.
  • Please do not bring items with a pungent odor, torches, barbeque equipment, picnic blanket, cookware or tea set to the park.
  • Please do not bring a professional camera, video camera or cinema cameras into the park without permission. Images captured may not be used for commercial purposes without authorization.
  • Please bring items that will affect the park's operations, visitors' safety and contrabands into the park.
  • The company reserves the right to deny visitors with hostility and those who affect the park's operations and safety entry into the park.
  • Visitors under the influence of alcohol pose an enormous risk to themselves and other visitors, so please do not bring alcoholic beverages into the park.
